I wrote it. I wrote a book, my debut and maybe my masterwork.

All but the last chapter.

One, it’s partly autobiographical and I haven’t yet completed *my* last chapter.

Two, though, I made a mistake and I learned a lesson. I talked about it. I read excerpts. I told people, “I wrote a book!” By doing so I got the encouragement I was seeking but at the cost of the encouragement to finish the book. Lesson learned.

Now, to finish the next chapter.
